Montana is located in the Pacific North West or the Great Plains region of the Unite states of America. The state is known for its great mountain ranges. This sate is known as the land of the shining mountains. This is due to the beautiful mountains that can be found in the state.
They make great scenery and are a hot spot for mountain climbers and tourists. Tourism forms a big part of the economy in this state. Also the national parks in this state attract a lot of tourists. There are over a million visitors to the glacier national park every year.
